Thoughts on Article: How the news changes the way we think and behave

The news and media has been proven to take a toll on someone emotionally and physically, even if the person has no connection at all what is happening. Some effects include changes in how we calculate risks, view other countries, or our own personal health. The news tend to show mostly negative content, so what we could believe is something big and devastating could possibly be just a small setback or mishap that happened. The words that news stations and media outlets use is also a big factor in how we make opinions. If they were to use more dramatic words that sound worse, then you could make a different opinion all together. Many studies from different people have shown that the news can take a toll on someone's mind and body. They have shown that people could develop long-term health problems from consuming so much media.

I completely agree with the article. I believe that the news and media takes a toll on someone's mind and body. If someone were to consume a lot of media all the time, then it would only be logical that they would develop these problems. Our mind can be easily influenced by our surroundings and the different media we use to get information not from our own country. Also, there have also been many studies that have shown this to be true and there are probably more that were not listed.
